On Thursday, April 25, Subaru is doing its part to raise awareness for HIV and ending the disease with the Dining Out For Life® program. This collaboration between Subaru involves over 3,000 participating restaurants across the country and 60 different HIV organizations working in their local community. Dining Out For Life® is simple: participants have a nice dinner out at a restaurant, and the restaurant donates a large percentage of sales to the cause.
For 2019, over 300,000 diners expect to raise over $4 million for the cause. All funds raised in a local area will go towards educating the local community about preventing and treating HIV.
Here’s just a small sampling of restaurants residents of the local community around Fort Lauderdale and Broward County can dine at. You can more options by visiting the Dining Out for Life® website.
- American Icon Brewery
- Brown Dog Eatery
- Milk Money Bar & Kitchen
- Sushi Shack
- Voo La Voo
- Wilton’s Creamery
Those participating in Dining Out For Life® can attend the After Party at Hunters Fort Lauderdale. Plan a date, a family night out, or even a solo breakfast at a local restaurant, and do your part in contributing to the cause of HIV awareness.
